Horizontal streamer: OBS-OBC

For shallow water operations we developed a hydrophone streamer with 6 channels that can be connected to the Ocean Botton Seismograph (OBS).
The 6 hydrophone channels are equidistantly distributed along the streamer. Separation of the channels is in the order of 25 to 80 meters. Other separation offsets are possible and depend on the requirements of the project. Recording examples are presented below. Water depth in this case was 1800 meters in the North Atlantic.
